About me

A middle-aged social scientist who started blogging to support social justice and spread the gospel of non-violence.I am blessed with a Siamese cat, and I admit to being addicted to bad reality TV and to baseball. Note: I follow back. And if I forget, let me know. Another point: Every time I post a plea for non-violent resistance before a major protest, I lose followers. But every time the left engages in violence, we lose followers so I will continue to annoy people with that viewpoint. There's also the little matter of morality and ethics. Most of this blog is devoted to progressive politics, activism and the Occupy movement but as a public service, I will post at least one cute animal picture everyday (mostly cats, sorry that's just my bias). And don't be surprised to see something about music from the 60s every once in a while.

What will never appear on this blog are pictures glorifying violence against women. They're both sexist and violent.
Second, I won't post porn. Sorry, but I am old enough to be your mom.
